Attorney Biography

Robert Sanders practices in the firm's Los Angeles office.  He began his career litigating employment, personal injury, product liability, toxic tort, medical malpractice, and elder abuse cases.  He litigates and counsels in the areas of employment, professional liability, and first and third party insurance coverage, particularly in the construction defect context.  His practice also includes business formation, contract negotiation, and resolving contract disputes. 

Mr. Sanders has published a number of articles in professional journals, including materials for a Lorman Seminar titled "Understanding The Current CGL Policy" (April 2006), and The Second Circuit Exempts Music Publishers from the Benefits of the Derivative Works Exception:  Fred Ahlert Music Corp. v. Warner/Chappell Music Publishing, Inc.,   29 Southwestern Law Review 655 (2000).  He was a member of the Board of Directors of Dispute Resolution Services of the Los Angeles County Bar Association, and served as a judge for the American Trial Lawyers Association, Student Trial Advocacy Competition.
